I really son't know the flowage at all but am interested in some nearby land and I am wondering how the fishing can be on it. I'm not looking for any secret spots, times or techniques. I'm just hoping someone with some knowledge to give me some insight to the possibilities. Feel free to post here or email me. Thanks in advance

Well, after doing some research, I see this isn't far from my camper on Lake Winter. Couldn't find anything relating to how the fishing is or anything, but I see there are plenty of fish species to find. When I go up there this summer for muskies, I will definately give you a shout. Remember, plenty of great fishing to be had within a 20min radius of where you are looking also.

The last I heard is that they deemed the dam unsafe and drained it I think like 3 years ago. There's the Grim Flowage (on the Chippewa River) not far away, is that the one you mean?

I'll second what GatorBait said, lots of good fishing close by.

The Grim Flowage is the one that has been drained.

The Radisson Flowage is part of the Chippewa River.

I have only fished for walleye and the walleye fishing can be very good.

Good luck.
