Anyone know what his contract situation is exactly?? How many years do we have control over him? He is such a BIG part of the lineup..... all the skills of a great leadoff hitter and a good defender I hope we can lock him up long term, but was curious as to how soon we may need to do that. If we lock up Mauer, extend Morneau and Cuddy.... it seems will be running low on dough...

I know he's only making 400K this year and it's his 3rd year. I would assume he's due for another contract after this year but I'm not certain.

Yes I agree we need to keep him in around in a Twins uniform for a long time!
