wmn luv me walleye fearme
Got my egg about 2 years ago. Was worth every penny. Great for smoking and I can get that thing scorching hot for searing. I had a charcoal smoker before the egg and it was a huge pain. Had to monitor it constantly. With the egg I can put on a pork shoulder at 9 at night, figure out what adjustments I need to get the temp to 220 by 9:30 and check it when I wake up at 7 and its still roughly around the same temp.Definately makes it easy and everything comes out moist. If you get one you need to get the platesetter (stops the coals from having direct contact with the meat) if you plan on smoking anything or even if you just want to do a turkey and not have to mess around turning it. rfish
Are you using green egg lump coal? That is also high buck.
