Big Stone Lake State Park reviews?

Hey yall,

Anyone been to the group camp at Big Stone Lake State Park? If so how was it? Fishing should be great here right? Any info is good info.

I'm just wondering before I book it for this summer.

I recommend the Lake Shore RV park.We stay there every year, never been to the state park. As for the fishing, we've had good years and bad years, always a shot in the dark.

Me and my family stayed there last year over 4th of July. We thought it was a nice campground. Campsites on the outside of the main loop are on a hill so if you are going to tent it make sure to get an inside campsite or one on the second loop. Not sure about the fishing.

Been there once,nice campground, nice and quiet, only about 3 other campers in site. Fishing was WINDY, shouldn't have been out in a 16ft. Scared the gusto right outa the wife. Would I go back? If camper wasn't parked, ya I would.
