broken marcum LX5

My flasher broke and my dad bring the nice guy he is took it apart and tried to fix it. He got it to work again but now only the red LED light works. My question is of I send it it will they fix it even tho it was taken apart? Any info would be great before send it in. Thanks

I would assume that if it is under warranty and someone took it apart, you may have issues with the warranty.

I would give them a call.

They will still probably fix it, but it will cost you where as if someone didn't "fix" it before it would have been under warranty. Never take apart anything if it is still under warranty. That is the best way to void the warranty.

That was my plan was to send it in and I took off for a couple days and came back and my dad had taken it apart and I didn't even know OT. Guess ill call them and see what the damage will be.
