H2O and Lakemaster Chip not showing contours

A friend has an H20 and just got a Lakemaster Chip which I think is the newest available. He put the chip in, GPS works fine, locates him, but isn't loading the contours of the lake. On my H20C I just put the chip in and away it went.

Question is does he need to synch the two up, or why isn't it loading the contours?

press menu and then select map data. In this screen set the data to lakemaster and it should show up.

There was an earlier thread here that the Navonics or lakemaster 2010 chip would not work on the H2O. Earlier post was the H20 would not ever get past the first H2O screen. cant remember which one it was.

Yep, I saw that one and was wondering if it was the prob. But eyebjim's advice got it working for him, so thanks again.
