Fishing line

I've always used Trilene XT, XL. Last year I started using Power Pro and really liked it. There are many other different fishing lines availavble. Can someone explain the best applications for each type of line?

Never used Power Pro, but have always heard good things about it. Lots of other lines out there that you hopefully get feedback on.

I use Fireline for most applications, another superline. It's fused and has a flat profile, so it slices through the water with less resistance. The thing I really like about it, besides it's sensitivity, is that your lures will go 20% deeper using 10 lb Fireline over 10 lb mono due to the smaller profile. That greatly increases the number of lures that get me into the 15-25 foot strike zone on the clear lake I fish most often.
