this lite has been coming on more frequently in the past year and causes the truck to go into limp mode, and now expect it to happen daily, or every other day. easily fixed by pulling over and restarting. It seems ive heard of issues with this, true?its a 5.7 - 2500.

any known servie bullitens with this problem?

easy fix?

I would assume your talking the check engine light? Is is throwing codes after this happens? TPS would be throttle position sensor.

To find out turn the key on-off (not to the start position) 3 time and codes should flash on your odometer screen.

If a re-flash doesn't take care of it you may start looking at the wires up towards the fire wall to see if any of them are chaffing or wearing through and ground out. Seems I remember reading about someone having a similar issue with the ETC light coming on and they found a wire that had worn though the protective coating.
