Grayfox
Went out late last night to try a couple fox spots and managed to get one. I was hunting by myself and didn't set myself up too well or I could of had two more. 1st set I had a SE wind and set up a little too far into the woods and the little bugger came in and I think, got behind me or circled in the thick brush that my light wouldn't penetrate. 2nd set the wind was swirling a bit and I decided to give it a whirl anyway. Never thought the gray would come all the way across that big field instead of the thick brush, wrong. By the time I saw it was gone. 3rd set I had a South wind and was on the NE corner of a thick pine grove that had a snowmobile trail on the East side. I set up 10 yards off the trail and immediately heard snowmobiles coming in the distance. Started with rabbit and could here it coming closer so I switched to pup distress and it wasn't 20 seconds and this beautiful female came hauling out and gave me a 25 yard shot and the 12 gauge barked and down it went. uptracker
Got your link, thanks. Would you rather have the 100 over the 250?
Grayfox
uptracker,if your going to use it for shotgun only I'd go with the 100 yard light, nice low profile too. I don't think you'll be able to ID them far enough with the 100 yard light though.

I'm looking at all my options right now...some guys are saying not to buy a light that mounts to your gun due to having to scan with the whole gun. Another guy claims that a regular LED light (no red lense) doesn't spook them. I have some good LED lights already.
