we cruised out to church today and were early so went between norway and swenson to see how many ice fishermen were out and we counted over 400 birds in 1 miles

went next 1 mile and saw 40 more

counted about same on way back and another 30 next to church

they had been coming in out of sloughs and were eating corn in picked fields

cool part was its our farms that we basically quit hunting with pressure 3 falls ago

that snow and super cold spell must nave really bunched them up

cant wait till next fall /also releasing some other birds
