FOXPRO Spitfire

Does anyone have any first hand information good or bad about this call? I just ordered one but its on back order so im like a kid waiting for christmas here! I had a call years ago by Foxpro and it sure seemed to do the trick.

I ordered mine this morning, I did some research on other forums/searches, they did have some problems with them in cold weather. They should now be up to rev. 4, this is supposedly to have fixed the problems, people that have them seem to like them and the ones that didnt work, those people recieved excellent customer service!!!

I'm excited to try mine, mine is also backordered, now I just need to learn how to call, never done it and I have no idea???? Anybody have input on how to call???? Email me at [email protected]

I was also considering ordering the spitfire. Just wondering if you guys kept the 24 preloaded calls or did you customize different calls?

I kept the original sounds. Seemed like a pretty good setup. My last foxpro only had 12 sounds and it seemed to do the trick. If it didnt have the crow fight sound loaded I may not have bought it. That sound is just too fun.

Thats what im thinking too. I dont expect it to be the greatest thing since live bait but im thinking its a winner. I am a beginner in the varmint calling world so im hoping it will be a good fit. Hard to find time to hunt and snowmobile with an infant at home but it will be nice to have something for when I can get out.

I have one that I only played with around the yard. Pretty dang good sound from a little unit. I am actually trying to sell it right now as I have had it since around xmas and never took it out yet. I usually am hunting yotes with hounds around here. Let me know if you would be interested..

I just ordered one from AP Calls.....They said they have them in stock so hopefully they upload my calls and get it here soon.
