Old Strikemaster not running right

Got an old stikemaster lazer 49cc that has been acting up lately. Once the auger is warm, it will die when you give it gas. Anyone have an idea what is going on? I am afraid the auger on its last limb.

probably just a $10.00 carb kit.

try a new carb kit first and if that doesn't work then maybe take it into them at big lake and they will go completely through it. I had them do a tune up on my magIII last year and now it runs like new and it is 20+ years old.

Did the carb kit last year to get it running, and she fires right up now. However it starts to bog down after 5 holes drilled or so. Ill look into taking it to a small engine or to SM.

If it drills 5 holes fine then bogs I would think the gas cap is not venting.

I'm pretty sure the gas cap vent has been open. Ill double check before i bring it in. Its i didn't have this problem until late last season up on LOW. I do not know a thing about small enginges so all this input is very appreciated. My dad has mentioned that it could be gaskets? All i know is that it will idle perfect, but the second you give in gas she bogs down.

Have you put fresh gas in it? By fresh I mean that it came from the gas station within a few weeks. I had put new gas in mine this year, but when I had trouble, I put in "new" gas and it runs fine. I also added a bit of seafoam.
