Nice job LEP. So the actual ordinance/law states it much clearer than the book. If it was worded that way in their publication, I wouldn't have even had to ask. I did notice that there is no engine size limits or age limits.

Personally, I think there should be. I will not allow my son to ride anything larger than the 120 until he is clearly too big for it. And he won't have anything larger than a 340 until he has a job and can pay for his own gas. Just my opinion, but I grew up riding an old Yamaha 340 until I was 16, and that thing was just fine for me.

In most cases, the book is only a general synopsis of the actual statutes and leave a lot of the key text out. As we now know, the books can have a lot to be desired. wink
