walleyepro
Does anyone know how to transfer waypoints from a H20 to a Humminbird 595C GPS Combo? I can "save" data on the H20 to a SD card, but I can't "load" them to the HB. Can you load waypoints onto this model? It has a SD slot. The Navionics Hotmaps work. This is the first HB unit I've owned, I've always used Lowrance units.
walleyewild
There was a thread on this not long ago, you need to convert the waypoints to something the bird will understand. Lowrance doesn't just save the waypoints as lat/lon coordinates. So you need to find some software on the web, read chip on computer, convert to format bird will understand and then load on bird.WWP.S. that is why I still use all Lowrance products, Handheld GPS and both display units have the same waypoints so if one goes down it is just a matter of getting it repaired or replaced and reloading waypoints. kg2
Post your email addy. I can email you a PDF that should explain it. Someone down at HB sent it to me. (I haven't done it, but I have transferred the other way from my HB to my H20.)
