I also like the darker shade of white on the back. I think sometimes people get carried away with too much white in their decoy spread and sometimes a little less looks more realistic. kittycatcher16 Posted January 22, 2010 Share Posted January 22, 2010 Im lookin to pick some new duck decoys this off season and finally get rid of all my old ratty mallard deeks. Not sure how much I want to spend but I want a good decoy in a magnum size. Which ones do you all like and why? They arent magnums but...hands down the best all around decoy IMO are the GHG Pro Grade mallards. I just picked up 2 dozen of them and they are the best looking deeks on the market. Basseyes Posted January 28, 2010 Share Posted January 28, 2010 For the heads on Cans I've been using Krylon Fusion Satin Burgundy with a flat black shading over it to give it a darker look.
