musky bucktail tying - non treble hook

Anyone know how or have any resources of how to tie a musky bucktail to the shaft of the bucktail - where it is able to slide along its main wire? I don't want to retie a bucktail every time I have to cut the hooks.

Tie it on a cable sleeve. Moores and stamina sell pre cut coils, but I just use a chunk of throttle cable sleeve.

Thorne brothers sells the coils as well. I've found them to be very helpful at the store and would be willing to bet someone would do a demo for you at the store.

I just go to local hardware store and buy throttle cable for a lawn mower. They are $5-8 and I just cut it to the lengths I need.
