Ice house skids??

I am looking at building a 8x8 or 8x10 skid house, what does everyone use for skids, any help would be great, thanks

i used 6x6 green treat posts for my 28 footer that i pull with my f-150 nick from zipple bay told me that i should have oak posts they are alot harder and skid easier?

Always used 4X4 treated and waxed them for hours like a old ski. They slide very easy and last years. Today I would go with wheels, a good straight axle with a lift system. Handmade or purchased. Some decent prices if you ask around at welding shops. Good 7X10 - 7X12 or bigger for sale on ad sites also.
