mnwild
I have a 1996 600 XLT that does the same thing. I can let it run for 10-15 minutes and it bogs down or like you said doggy then eventually takes off and sound how it should.I hope people respond because I am cusrious to what can be done. chad austin
I just bought a '97 ZR440 and this is exactly what my sled was doing, called a buddy of mine and he said to check the jack shaft bearings and sure enough they are bad and are getting changed tomorrow. Gus
anyone ever had problems with throttle safty switch? That is something to check. I had mine get stuck one time and I did have issues almost like you describe on an 92 indy 500 efi. Mine was just iced over though from a messy snow storm. I guess thats what it is there for however my throttle itself wasn't stuck. Just the sensor. I wouldn't know how to test any more through besides making sure that pin can move in and out, sorry.
