Kris Kristufek
I have several hundred fiberglass blanks and maybe 5-6 dozen graphite blanks of various actions and sizes. Also have 8- St. Croix solid carbon blanks. Call me for a price on the whole works.
bemidjibasser
i just picked up a handful of "ice blank" at Cabelas in teh bargain cave for $1.50 each. They were tips form broken rods that were returned and still have the guides on them. Actually a decent way to stock up on quality guides for cheap... The ones I got were sciii and sciv tips that all have alconites on them... I probably got between $60-$70 in guides for around $10.
jakemcarroll
I saw all of the rod tips at cabelas today also, my only concern was the the guide or two closest to the really would be pretty tiny, I suppose I could replace the one guide and then have the setup for relatively cheap. Has anyone done this?
bemidjibasser
It is a pretty easy way to make a ice rod. Replace a guide or two and add some cort of handle and you are set...If you are in the market for guides, it is also a good way to get a bunch of guides for cheap.
