I posted on here asking for opinions on purchasing a new spinning reel to add to my arsenol to be my go to combo for the big eyes I am chasing. While christmas shopping, I came across a great deal on the Abu Garcia Cardinal so I treated myself to an early christmas prestent. I put it on a medium St. Croix premier ice rod and on the first trip out with it, it worked perfectly in landing a fat 27" eye in about 10 degree weather and a blizzard! I think this is just what I was looking for.
