ice auger muffler?

is there any way to put a muffler on a eskimo barracuda 3hp? would it hurt the motor any?

2 stroke engines are tuned to the exhaust that is on them. If you change it the power will likely suffer if it runs right at all.

find your nearest Stens dealer. Usually small engine repair shops use Stens. Stens is a parts warehouse for small enginge parts. I have put a frew mufflers on in place of the spark arrestors and after re-tuning the carb it ran like a thief in the night, but half the volume.

i have fairly good knowlage with small engines. so i think i will search the place for a weed wacker muffler or something. or make something.
