SM suit question?

How many pockets does your SM suit parka have? The HSOforum advertises it as having 14 interior and exterior pockets but mine appears to be missing 5 pockets. I've got 9 exterior pockets but no interior pockets on the parka.

The bibs also advertise 6 total pockets, 2 high chest, 2 cargo pockets and 2 zippered slash pockets but I have no zippered slash pockets. I have 2 zippers but no pocket inside just appears to be a way to get to pants pockets.

It's not deal breakers at all, just dissappointing especially not having any inside pockets on the Parka. I really like to keep my camera on an interior coat pocket as it helps keep the batteries warm. Maybe I'll call and see if it was a design change and they just haven't updated the HSOforum or what it was. I got 2 suits and both are like this.

I am glad you brought this up I would of never known. anyway I still like the suit as it is very warm.

I have the jacket and was also dissapointed to see that there were not any interior pockets, a nice jacket overall though.

I did contact StrikeMaster on this just to find out. They said it was a design change this year based on user feedback that the interior pockets were difficult and not useful. They appreciated me calling and pointing out that the HSOforum was incorrect and will be updating it to be correct. They updated the other parts and that was simply a oversight.

I did tell them personally as a user I would prefer the pockets come back in some variation or form simply due to the fact that I carry electronics with me sometimes (mainly a digital camera, cell phone, mp3 player, maybe one day gps unit) and the batteries have a much shorter span when in outside pockets due to the cold and keeping them interior near the body and warm helps this. The lady on the phone agreed with me and will submit the feedback so at least they do listen to their customer base and try and make changes. Too bad I won't need a new suit for awhile

I'd like to stress still that this suit is still a GREAT suit and well worth the $$ I spent on it. I think all of the suit's are great as far as I can tell from trying a few on, the pricepoint on the SM was the final deal maker for me. Maybe later on in years if I ever have more expendable $$ I'll get an AA suit but for now loving the SM, been wearing the parka for 3 days now everywhere, yep I'm that guy
