Garcia Revo Premier Reel

anyone know anything about this reel, there is a store from fargo nd that has them on sale for 129.00 regular 279.00 are the good? i need a low profile for my son and who can beat the price. any thoughts are appreciated, happy and safe holidays

I'm not sure about the Revo Premier but I bought my son a Revo SX for Christmas last year and he really likes it. In fact, I really liked it also so I bought a Skeet Reese model at the Berkley outlet this summer. I think it might be very close to the Premier model since it is normally in the $280 range (I got it for $180). Ths SX is a bit heavier but has an external brake adjustment. It also has a more powerful drag than the Reese model and I'd like to know whether or not I could up the power on mine a little. I think you'd be very happy with the purchase - especially at that price.

i bought two heck that for the price it is like getting one free. hopefully they will work out if nothing else the garcia name is good. they should be fine for walleye and pannies. have a happy holiday. jeff

Jeffrey - hard to go wrong for that price. I paid over $200 for my first one, picked up 3 more for $130 this summer. They are lighter than my 500 spinning reels!
