There is no longer an age restriction for hunting wild turkeys in Minnesota. I'm not exactly sure how the licenses will be made available this spring but I believe they will be over the counter for youth. If you take a youth hunting, you must be in direct contact with them and you can not carry a weapon yourself. As long as you accompany them, they do not need a hunter safety certificate.
