Did you remove the mixture screw and clean the port and the end of the screw?

Along with needle and seat replaced or at least taken out and cleaned. New diaphragms put in correctly? Fuel level correct? The foot of the lever/tang should be flush with the floor of the body. That would be the part that make contact with the center stud in the diaphragm. All circuits cleaned and blowout? Did you get the governor and throttle hooked up correctly?

Good news. i took the carb apart AGAIN and dueched it with carb cleaner AGAIN then blew the heck out of it with compressed air. put it all together and it ran only with choke and died when i gave it gas. pulled the carb AGAIN and noticed that the holes in the carb spacer (crankcase vaccuum i think) were plugged. cleaned 'er up and slapped it back together and it runs like a dream cool note to self: check everything better the first time!!

BTW good tip on the needle arm adjustment wink
