I will be heading up that direction as well, sounds like there is plenty of ice and plan on taking sleds out with portables. Does anyone know where I could get some dead/frozen or live minnows in the 6"-10" inch range to try for some pike? Any help would be great. Thanks!!

Ken from Pelican posted on 12-10 that they had 4" of good ice and were starting to run sleds. Time to head up.

I was up last weekend (12th and 13th). Drilled through 7 inches of ice saturday morning. No sled tracks on the ice as far as I could see. Pretty sure some locals were going out this week with sleds and portables. There was about 6 to 8 inches of snow. Enough so you wouldn't run the hifax off anyway.
