i havent been out but there seems to be a few people out on metro lakes. 4-6 inches? not positive, but if ya do go out be careful and prolly best off bringing a spud bar/chisel. im gettin out for the first time tomorrow.

I went out today to check ice on a local lake. I just brought my spud bar and reopened holes that someone else cut. Ice was about 4 inches thick at about 200 yards from the public access. Be very careful out there.

was out tonight on a mpls city lake and dink perch are alive and well. Ice 4-5", very excited to get out

Up in Alexandria, we have 6" on Maple and 7-8 on Reno. Wheelers have already been on Reno. I will wait til next week on the wheeler. Did get 3 keeper eyes and 3 keeper crappies. Good luck all.
