Neiko
I am getting a Big Buddy Heater and was wondering if I need a regulator when using a pancake style 11lb tank? I plan on getting a filter for it for sure. Anyone use it with a 11lb tank?
Jeremy airjer W
If you get the hose that has the 1 pound fitting on the end than you do not need a regulator. The one pound fittings have regulators built into the heater. If you use this hose the filter is recommended. If you get the R.V. quick connect hose you will need the one with the regulator attached. The quick connect fitting on the heater is not regulated by the heater. If you use this hose the filter is not needed.

timjones
I use mine with the 11 lb pancake tank. Just buy the filter and screw that into either of the regulators where the one pound bottles screw in. Then screw the hose from your tank onto the other end of the filter.
