30-06 shells

Remington called them the "accelerator" for obvious reasons. You can buy the sabots and reload them. Do a search for bullet sabots. I have shot some of my own rolls in 06 and did not chrono them just in using the loading data that was sent with the sabots. Remember they were cruising according to their chart. Also tried some in 300 win mag and they were really being launched. Groups were so-so but I did not experiment much with tweaking them either at the time.

I see midway has some in 30-30 right now and list them as manufacturer discontinued. 30-06 if you search may stumble onto a box or two lying around somewhere.

Only one way to know how they'll work in your gun, but when I tried them back when they were fairly new I was not impressed with the accuracy at all.

Just my 2 cents.

I also looked into the 55grs; but heard the same, accuracy is bad and leaves massive holes; so I opted to the 125grs
