CRFan1
Finally, after 6 weeks, my Alumacraft Classic 165 CS is going to be ready by Wednesday or Thursday of next week! I am excited as hell even though I won't be able to use it for like 4 months, lol. I upgraded quite a few things on it and I will take pics when I get it. solbes
Ahh, the garage jigging. I did a little of that. Also did some driveway trolling when there was no action in the garage.Congrats on the new purchase. I'm sure you'll love it!

CRFan1
HAHAHA....yeah, me and the neighbor were already talking about having a jig pitching contest into my wife's car cupholder (while standing in the boat in the garage of course)

CRFan1
Update: The boat and trailer are in and all the accessories are mounted but the motor is still MIA! I am praying it comes in tomorrow or Friday
CRFan1
For cryin' out loud....the motors are on a slow boat from China. Be here in mid-late January I guess. Hell I didn't even know these Mercs are made in China and I am kinda ticked about that!
MUSKY18
Wow CR....with that trolling motor on that unit, you should be able to troll for about 3 weeks before needing to recharge! Thinking about upgrading my trolling motor to that as well. I have a 1600 Explorer and that is a great trolling motor for that size of boat! Having owned a tracker many years ago with an underpowered trolling motor I learned my lesson, lol. I want to be able to handle wind too. [PoorWordUsage] snowstorm I am picking it up Monday and will try and get some pics too.
