Need pole for fish house

I bought a used fish trap flip over last year and one of the poles broke on it last year. I decided I am just gonna replace all of the poles because some are bent a little and its hard to shut them some night. My plan was to go to home depot but the smallest pole they have is 3/4 in emt and thats too heavy. Anyone have any suggestions?

Go to anyone that has electrical supplies. They certainly will have l/2" EMT.

Is it the bottom section, or the top support hoop? Both would be fairly easy to get fabbed up if need be.

Electrical conduit should work, that is what was originally and most commonly used. If you need to go a bit heavier, all the better, it will be stronger.

If need be an electrician with a conduit bender could fab you up a hoop, than just drill the holes and insert the pop-pins from the old hoop frame.
