Muzzy license ????

Recommended Posts

So, I'm going hunting 3B shortly. I bought a 3B license and an intensive harvest permit. If I have the opportunity to tag a doe, I will, leaving my Buck/Doe tag open. Lets say I don't see another deer.

I have an opportunity to Muzzy hunt for the first time this year.... do I need to buy a Muzzy License or can I use my 3B Tag?

The reason I ask, when I was looking thru the regs I saw that they list Muzzy tags also.

Here is what I think.

I need to buy a Muzzy tag because my 3B tag is only good for 3B, not metro like the other Zones.

I'm just not sure.

Thx,

Mike

For the 3B season that starts tomorrow and runs for 9 days, you need a 3B license. If you are unsuccessful, you can purchase a ML license and hunt the ML season. You probably don't want to buy a ML license until after the 3B firearm season closes.

However, just one point to make. If you plan on ML hunting the MONDAY after the 3B firearm season closes, you will need to have purchased your ML license 48 hours before. Got it?
