Portable shack shipping charge?

Anyone have a portable shack shipped to them from a retailer? about how much was shipping?

I live close to a GM a BPS and Cabelas but wont be able to pull the trigger on one till after Christmas, so they could be out of stock or dont have the model i want (frabill commando) by that time. The retailers i would order from if it comes down to that are both in Minnesota and i live in Michigan. Thanks.

You will get a heavy shipping charge on a direct ship shack from the manufacturer because of it will have to come by freight, gets expensive bud...not the way to go. It would likely be $150 for freight...Uff-Da.

I recommend you pre-buy the shack from the retailer of choice, and they will hold it in the store for you tell you can drop bye and pick it up..than there is no extra charge.

You may even be able to do a layaway? Depends greatly on the retailer. Free shipping seldom aplies to shacks if ordered from any retailers web site, due to the size and the stiff chipping fee's on them...so that will not work. Direct buy over the phone or in person and pick up latter would be the cheapest way to go.

i would have them do an in-store pickup where they ship it to the store and you just go pick it up no shipping charges
