help with otter sled and rope placement

hello i'm the proud owner of a otter 1st ice sled where should i put the rope i called there company and they said its made for the owner to put it were ever they want should i put it on the middle of the lip in the front or on the sides i just dont want to do it twice thank you

Don't put it on the lip, but high up on the sled itself. I would recommend 2 holes almost to the outer sides of the sled. Also, use fender washers between the sled and the knot so you aren't pulling the knot through a hole in the plastic.
