Skylight Recommendations?

I am looking to reroof, and need to replace existing skylights. Anyone have recommendations on quality products and why you recommmend them (ones to avoid)?

Any gottya's I should watchout for as part of the installation.

I have 4 skylights. I am considering sealing up 2 of them and only replacing 2 of them.

Try velux brand ...mine seem to be holding up well, but you have to buy the flashing kit seperate

Do you have the fixed model, how long have they been installed?

If you are going to replace them with the type that can be opened, be sure to be at least ten feet away from a plumbing vent pipe. Yuo could be sniffing sewer gas otherwise.

i've sold the velux ones and had no problems with them, they offer alot of neat options with blinds, openers, ect.
