drakerebel
couple of years ago, i was temporarily stuck in a snow bank and had to do the 'ol fwd/rvs/turning handlebars to get out...well, eversince then it has always had the tendency to steer to the left. it's not the worst thing, but if you let go of the bars you're going off 10 degrees or so. i always chalked it up to a tie rod thing (adjusted them a couple times to compensate), but could i have a hub that's not disengaging from 4x4??? thanks for any input in this case
rundrave
when is the last time you changed the hub fluid? If it has been a while, drain completely and then refill. If issue is still there, take apart the bearings etc in the hub, get to the hilliard, and inpect the armature plates in the hub. If they are worn and there is a noticeable line around the plate surface swap it out. Also some good advice if you do one side and it is bad, your best bet is to do the other. Also be sure when re-assembling that you torque down the castle nut correctly, there is a specific torque sequence/pattern that needs to be done right in order for everything to engage properly.good luck
