12V battery

Was digging through my ice fishing gear tonight and need to replace the 12V batteries on the camera and depth finder. Both came with a 7AH battery. Any harm in buying and using a 8AH or 9AH on them? Or is the life just longer for these batteries?

bmc2b is absolutely right. If you have sensistive stuff like a GPS be sure to install a fuse in the line. I have a fuse running to my Ice Machine, but it would be required for the 6 and 7 AH too.

Get the biggest one you can fit in your compartment, and the biggest one you want to carry around.

Check out the Vexilar "Sportsmans" batter which is a 9amp in the same footprint as the 7amp. Thats what I replaced my battery with. A little heavier, but a lot longer run time.
