bbqhead
I did horseradish before, First peel as best you can. Horseradishis not tangy in its solid form. It gets tangy from proscessed ina blender or food proscesser which opens the "cells" inside thehorseradish. The vinegar stops the proscess. Here is how I do it. Chop it up as cubes, Which isnt a easy task.Use a old blender that you dont care if it burns out. [horseradish is a very tough veggie] just throw the cubes in the hole in the cover of your blender. [do not take a whiff of the blended horseradish, it will very fumey!] If you want a milder horseradish, Put a tablespoon of vinegar in the blender right away. I wait 5 minutes before i add it, I like it hot! Thats about it. For more info, Google proscessing horseradish.randy
