Spearing trips

Do any of you guys take trips up into the northern part of the state on trips for spearing? My grandpa wants to take a few days and go out spearing with me somewhere up north. Just wondering if any of you have any ideas other then Lake of the Woods area. Thanks.

We can't spear as MNs in ND can we? Isn't Cass closed to spearing because of the muskie population? Or do you just mean one of the lakes near Cass. I see on a map their are plenty to chose from.

Dixon Lake Resort on Dixon Lake. They have darkhouses on 3rd River flowage on Winnie. New darkhouses, nice cabins, nice people. Only about 5 mi. drive to houses from resort.
