Ground Blind Hunting

Going to hunt out of a ground blind this year, maybe? I can only put it up the morning I go out so is it worth setting one up, it only takes a matter of seconds but will it spook the deer or wont they mind? Has anyone had experince with them gun hunting?

Yes, they work well in the right place, and don't seem to spook the deer. A bonus is you can also use a small portable heater to keep warm. I've used one in the late blackpowder season a couple of times, and it paid off..

Blend it in somewhere to break up its outline. I try and get mine in some shadows and it works well.

i already got 2 during early doe season this year from mine! i am getting to old and fat to get up in the tree anymore plus i see more deer from the blind and i get to sit in a comfy chair, one of the deer i shot was about 10 yd from me and came in about 15 min. after i set up my blind
