Hunting MN pheasants sure saves on shells!!!

I have a good friend with the SD game fish and parks, I will try to get an answer. I know when I lived there about 14 years ago, they never talked about releasing birds.

There are birds released onto private game farms/hunting preserves is SoDak just like in MN, but I have never heard of and highly doubt they release any birds onto public land.

..just a thought for food plots.. go out soon and ask a farmer if you could take a few 55 gal buckets of whole corn for $20, put it out the 2nd week of jan and get your camera!

Pheasants forever has corn pick up locations. They put food plots on some of their WMA's. They pick most of it and distribute it out to people to put out in crib feeders for the pheasants, and whatever else gets it. I have seen a few WMA's with crib feeders on the land too.

A 5 gallon bucket wouldnt last a night if there are deer around.
