bmc
I'm looking for some ideas for displaying game bird tail fans. I'm thinking of using a shadowbox and putting in a grouse tail fan, empty shotgun shell, 4x6 inch pic of hunter w/ bird(s).Thinking of using some thin wood or leather to cover up the base of the tail feathers.Anyone else ever do or see something like this?Brian
Scott M
I did a shadowbox with spurs, empty shotshell, pictures, and tags from my first turkey.I also mounted the two grouse color morphs on some boards cut by a fellow FMer. It looked pretty cool.Put a pic up when you're done. Should look pretty cool.

Ferny
Cool, I was thinking of something to cover up the meaty part and maybe the first 2 inches. I have some drying with 20 Mule Team Borax right now waiting for some inspiring mount. I like the shotgun shell and picture! Thanks, Ferny.
