Fishing at night this time of year?

How many of you guys are actively fishing at night still? I've burned through a majority of my time off from work and am saving a day or two yet for a daytime trip as well as deer season but I want to get out more - I want to get out in the evenings this week and next...on the water by 5 and stay till whenever...are many of you fishing at night yet? If so, how? Blades, dawgs, suckers?

i'm still out in the dark a couple times a week, only time i can get out during the week. the blade bite has slowed and i've only dunked suckers for a couple hours in the dark. i've also been trolling big cranks a bit. not the action we had in the summertime but i'm going to keep doing all three as conditions warrant.

nastier weather seems to be better unfortunantly, but i get a kick out of challenging the elements. sometimes my dogs hate me for making them go.

Mark - nastier at night? Seems like a deadly combo...my wife will think I'm crazier than a rat in a tin shat house going out at night in nasty weather this time of year. haha.

i've had my sanity called into question by many family and friends, as well as myself on some of those trips. but ya keep casting or trolling and sometimes you go home wet, cold, and happy.

hunterjoe has been out with me a few times on nights like this.

Yeah, it's fun fishing in the cold, wet, windy dark and netting your fish. It wouldn't be nearly as much fun if it was calm and warm. Gives it a little character.
