Arctic Cat Crossfire 700 questions

I had an 04 f6, I like the crossfire way more than the firecat. In my opinion the crossfire rides smoother with the longer track, and I do more boondocking than trail riding so the longer and wider track of the crossfire is better suited to the riding I do. the seating position is more forward on the crossfire, more like a dirt bike, and it is more comfortable for me.

I did not do the seat mod, was going to but decided the crossfire fit my riding better. the f6 was fairly fast, on a long stretch of someting hard like ice it would do about 103 on the speedometer, but never checked it with the gps. some of our riding is fresh ditches and I would still take the crossfire. I never got very comfortable on the firecat, no matter what I did it didn't seem to turn very good.

got almost 4000 miles on my '06 Crossfire 700. like the longer track with 1.25 inch lugs which is good for off trail. I did add some ice scratchers last season and they make a big difference in marginal snow conditions. it likes oil as mentioned by nitro640. no problem to hit triple digits on the speedo. just wish it had reverse. i think in '07 they came with reverse. I live less 2 blocks from my dealer so I am always checking whats new.
