Looking for a hunting partner / buddy

Hello,

I am new to hunting, I just got my firearms safety last April but do not know where / how to hunt. I do have a 12 gauge and a .22. I live in Mankato, MN and have heard that there are lot of good land around here. It would be nice to have someone to hunt with. My friends are not into hunting.

How old are you? If you are young there are many youth hunting camps, and opportunities you can take advantage of.

What do you plan on hunting or what would you like to hunt?

whats your availability to hunt. Do you work day, nights or go to school?

Thanks USPENAMC for the reply.... I am 24 years old and I have never hunted in my life but I am pretty safe with firearms. I live in the Mankato area but work in Saint Paul. I am pretty much available during weekends.

well you have a long drive dont you! I like to hunt doves, deer i bowhunt and rifle hunt and well I have gone out hunting for pheaseants a few times but never got anything same goes for duck and geese. I sometimes hit your general area for bowhunting. between st peter and mankato on 169 there is a park almost next to the park there is a WMA have seen good amount of does there. I have only been there twice this year. I dont know what or where we are doing for rifle hunting yet.
