1997 Lund Pro V SC, 16'3 with '97 Evinrude Intruder 115 two stroke with three blade stainless steel prop. The boat comes with four seats (bases for six). With just myself in it, average load and average tank of gas I can get 44 MPH with the right trim. The motor has been running well, it starts a hair cold but after being started it fires right up. It didn't have enough power to pull me up with one ski, I always had to start with two (I weigh 215) but it could pull 160# and lighter up with no problems.

The boat has two livewells, one in back and one just as the front deck starts. Three new batteries in '09, 3 bank on board battery charger. The trolling motor is a '97 Evinrude 3 speed that can run all day on the lowest setting and about 6 hours on medium. I still haven't figured out if it's a 24 volt system or two 12 volts connected inside, but it has two 27 series up front. The boat has a CD player (should be re-wired) with two 6*9 speakers. The speakers are located on the floor as the deck starts and have been accidentally kicked a few times while stepping up, but that's just cosmetic, still work well.

The MPH gauge doesn't work, neither does the gas guage. The boat on the outside shows signs of dock rash and scrapes picked up in the last 12 years, but it still catches fish:) $100 cover comes with boat, nothing fancy but this has always been stored under a roof so the cover hasn't been an issue.

Now my reasons for selling...This boat has ONLY been used on Lake of the Woods, and it POUNDS when anything over a 1 1/2 foot chop. Because of that, right under where the driver sits there is about 10-15 rivits that are loose and leak, also the spray trim on the side has started to pop off (see pictures). I would NEVER sell this boat, but I don't want to use it on big water anymore. I would recommend the rivits, either by yourself or a dealer, get tightened under the boat and completely new rivits get put in on the spash trim to tighten that down. As it is now it doesn't leak too badly, the bilge turns on once every hour and a half to two hours for thirty seconds. I don't have the time, tools, or knowhow to do the rivits.

This is my first boat that I'm selling, so ask if you have any questions. I'd be more than happy to tell you about any imperfections this boat has, or how many muskie it has boated, or how many limits of walleye have seen the insides of the livewell :-D I understand this is a "project" and would like to be as transparent as possible about any defects it may have. My number is 320-293-9750, or email at [email protected]

Boat is in Warroad but can be brought down as far as St. Cloud. Asking $6,000, looking at all offers.

Thanks,

FF

fishingfrenzy,

I'm interested in this boat, but would need to have a complete and thorough look-see, as well as a trial run to see how she handles and confirm there's still life left in that Evi.. I'd also like to talk to a dealer about cost on the hull repairs.

Sounds like she's seen a lot of hard miles, and I don't want to get into a constant headache with repairs year after year. I'm simply looking for a decent, trustworthy family/fishing boat to use up on the lake.

I'll give you a call soon. Don't trade her off just yet. I plan on at least one more trip to the lake, or river this fall from TRF so I'll swing over to have a look then - likely before T-day.

We'll hook up soon.

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
