Got my first 3 birds....ever!!

I'm new to the sport. Well, I'm in my 3rd year and finally managing to get it figured out a bit better. Shot a ruffed and 2 spruce yesterday. I was actually 3 for 6 on the shot count. The ruffed flushed and the spruce just kind of waited for me to walk up and shoot. Kinda foolish of them really. Especially since they both saw me coming. It was fun anyway. Just thought I'd share the experience. Gets ya pumped up to get back out there.

Did you get pics of your prizes? Were the sprucies male or female?

Both males. Got pics of the ruffed but not of the spruce. Don't know what I was thinking there. Couldn't believe haw dark the meat was on the sprucies. Just like duck! I'll probably cook em up tomorrow.
