jandres
Was out hunting friday the 9th before the snow fall here in sw mn. Very windy at around three then the wind died at around five. I instantly started seeing bucks coming out of the woods to feed on some newer planted prairie grass. Probably my best experience yet bowhunting. Counted around twenty five to thirty bucks. Hard to keep track. Only four of them appeared to be young bucks. There were multiple sets that were fighting and then three of biggest deer, two 8's and a 14 were locked up at the same time. nothing got within 60 yards of my set but i will definitely be bring a camera out next time. anyone else see good numbers before a storm. Leaddog
Yeah, I saw that'd be a good evening to be out there. Got an email from the boss about 4 saying he'd call me in a bit. Needless to say the couple minutes I hung around before blowing it off til Monday was just enough to keep me from hunting the last hour. Think I'll implement a plan to eliminate such calls in the near future!Got out Sunday, nothing moving but but was a real nice evening.
