crothmeier Posted October 5, 2009 Share Posted October 5, 2009 i start 3 quarts of my homemade canned stewed tomatos, a few peppers, onions, chili beans, kidney beans, 2 lbs of burger, maybe a chopped up sirloin, and go from there. a little this spice, a little that spice, all to taste and let simmer for 4 hours. makes a big batch but i freeze it in quantities that i use.
