Frog methods?

Assuming you're targeting walleyes, just use a split shot and a size 6 hook and use your electric to troll about 1mph . 6-10 fow should suffice for depth and try to get the bait as far behind the boat as possible so you'l need to play with your split shot size to stay a foot or so off the bottom. Good luck and let us know how you do.

only tried them once and i shore fished with them. I used a large single hook added a stinger and a rubber band. Put a large egg weight about three foot from the frog. Did not catch anything missed a couple. My thoughts were, frogs are bottom orientated and should be presented close to the bottom.

Frogs work anywhere from the surface at night to the bottom. Rigs like were already mentioned do well, and so do others.

Jigs and frogs do well, pitch in to shore and work out slowly and with occasional pauses with the frog at rest.

A stand-up style jig is preferable, the frog will float upwards at rest...hits often occur as it drops or at rest.

Don't get too trigger happy, fade back and once you see it is on the move set the hook.
